Margarita Wallace - Eagle Bay Brewing Co
08.02.2020

Eagle Bay Brewing Co is a microbrewery, restaurant and vineyard with sweeping views over Geographe Bay and undulating valleys.

The team work extremely hard, and it shows across the menu of great food, ciders and beers. But it’s the communal atmosphere lapping up the view that really makes everything taste better. Margarita Wallace, Head of Marketing & Creative at Eagle Bay Brewing Co, let us in on her favourites. She is a straight talker and got right to the point.

Favourite beach?

Oooooooo that is a tough one, we are blessed with such beautiful coastline for all sorts of beaching activities. An even tie between The Farm at Bunker Bay and or one of the beaches in Eagle Bay.

2

Where do you take your visitors?

3

Top three food experiences?

Yarri – for lunch or dinner. My absolute go-to and favourite place to eat.

Glenarty Road – always worth the drive from Dunsborough every time

Yallingup Woodfired Bread – because who doesn’t love heading to a bakery out in the bush to grab some freshly baked bread.

4

Your personal beer recommendation?

Apart from our place for hand crafted beers of course (ha ha ha ha), Rocky Ridge and a visit to their cellar door in Busselton is the goods. Great beers and atmosphere, and awesome tasting paddles.

5

Best fun in the region without spending a cent?

Finding one of the beaches to hang out for the day in Eagle Bay.

6

Favourite time of year?

Tough one – but definitely the months from January to April. Late summer and early autumn allow you to be really thankful for where you live. The long days let you make the most of the region from morning to sundown.

7

Best place to watch the sunset?

8

You can’t leave the Margaret River Region without...?

Having an afternoon beer or wine on the lawn at our place.
