Yungarra Gallery – The Noongar Art Hub of Western Australia

Established in 2020, Yungarra Gallery is the premier destination for authentic Aboriginal art in Western Australia. Founded and owned by Christopher Ioppolo, the gallery is dedicated to showcasing the incredible talent of Noongar artists, as well as Indigenous artists from across Australia.

Located in the heart of the Margaret River region at U6/16 Cyrillean Way, Dunsborough, WA 6281, next to Yarra Restaurant, Yungarra Gallery has become a cultural hub, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience the depth of Aboriginal storytelling through art. The gallery offers a carefully curated selection of contemporary and traditional pieces, each reflecting a deep connection to Country, culture, and identity.

This gallery pays tribute to some of our excellent indigenous artists. The pieces are brilliant in execution and capture the imagination with evocative images. Well worth the effort to take time out for a visit

We had a fantastic experience at Yungarra Gallery. The art pieces are absolutely stunning, showcasing a wonderful variety of styles of indigenous art. Chris was incredibly helpful with selecting the right pieces for our space, providing insightful suggestions and placement ideas. The customer service was exceptional—thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring a great experience. Beautiful gallery filled with incredible works from aboriginal and indigenous artists. I stopped in to admire the art and ended up having a lovely conversation with the owner Chris. If you’re someone who likes art or history then it is a must see when you are in town!
