Lunar Circus International Training Project 2027
Description
The International Training Project is Lunar Circus’s flagship intensive circus training programme, held in Karridale, just 20 minutes South of Margaret River, Western Australia. The programme will celebrate its 19th year with the 2027 edition.
Programme Format:
Participants enjoy two weeks of immersive outdoor training under the Western Australian summer sky, led by internationally recruited industry tutors. Week One runs from 4 to 8 January 2027, followed by Week Two from 10 to 14 January 2027. The programme culminates with the Karnidale Festival on 15 and 16 January, recognised as the Southern Hemisphere’s largest circus festival.
Training Opportunities:
Classes are held daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with more than 28 class options available each hour across approximately 27 circus and movement disciplines. Training areas include flying trapeze, aerial silks, rope, straps, handstands, acrobatics, tumbling, juggling, diabolo, hoop, unicycle, and dance. Classes are offered at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Who Can Participate:
The programme caters to everyone from complete beginners to working professionals.
A dedicated Circus Fun stream is also available for children aged 5 to 8 years.
