The Margaret River Region is a caravan and camping mecca, whether you are pulling a camper-trailer, enjoying the comforts of a motor-home or caravan and simply setting up the family tent.
Options will be based on what style of site and facilities you require, or whether you want to be close to town, by the beach or the tranquillity of the bush.
- Holiday and caravan parks offer powered and unpowered sites for tents, camper trailers, caravans and motorhomes with easy access to facilities ranging from camp kitchens, ablution blocks with hot water, laundromat, WiFi, general store, dump points and water refill services. Ultra family-friendly parks may also offer jumping pillows, mini-golf, pedal-karts, games rooms or indoor/outdoor pools
- New to camping or looking for a few more comforts, try glamping at a working farm or olive grove. You can even hire canvas bell-tents to set up on a friend or families private property.
- Council operated parks will cover the essentials but keep things a little more simple such as firepits, BBQs, ablution blocks and perhaps a boat ramp nearby.
- Get back to nature in spectacular reserve and national park settings with just the basics on offer at campgrounds managed by the Parks & Wildlife Service. Campers will need to be prepared with no running water, power, mobile phone or data service. Some sites can be booked online and others simply first in best dressed.
