Had a delicious round of pizzas and toasties here, unfortunately full menu wasn't available due to Covid impact. Lovely setting, great playground for the kids, and even a DJ with some very relaxed tunes to help while away the afternoon. The surf gallery was also excellent. Will definitely be back once they are back in full flight. Blue Moose

Aravina is a beautiful venue and usually I couldn’t couldn’t fault it. Stunning view, green lawns, amazing playground for kids but yesterday unfortunately the food was just not up to par. The restaurant is closed so it was pizzas only. We were informed the wait was 45mins to 1 hour and we were prepared to wait. The sun was out and the wine was delicious. 1.5 hours later we were finally buzzed to collect our food but it was cold and the pizza base was hard. The other people we were dining with were not ones to complain but being in the industry I felt they should know something wasn’t meeting our expectations. The pizzas were nearly $30 each. I informed the manager that I wanted reheat one pizza. He did this without hesitation and he offered a refund of the one pizza I had returned. I accepted his offer. I would highly recommend this venue usually but just for others to be aware of how things may go when they are busy and only offering pizzas you may be disappointed and massively out of pocket. We have dined at Aravina several times over the years, and have never been disappointed. On this occasion we came for a lovely leisurely lunch. We were welcomed and taken to our table by Ian, who we have met before and is always lovely to deal with. Brita was our waitress and she took fabulous care of us, she was very attentive without being intrusive. We opted for the $70 set menu but added a few extras. We started with Sweetcorn & Manchego Fritters, and our entrees were warm Marron & Cuttlefish salad, Ocean Trout pastrami both beautifully presented and delightful to eat. My husband had the Market fish and I had the Fresh Linguine with Shark bay crab, chilli , garlic & mascarpone, this was the absolute highlight for me, it was bursting with flavour and i enjoyed every mouthful. Our Food was accompanied by 2018 Chardonnay wish was a perfect choice and personally recommended by Ian. We always love visiting Aravina whenever we come to the region. Fiona Marie
