Beerfarm is an independently-owned Australian Brewery, located in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. Working with both the land and environment to cultivate good times and beverages for every occasion.

With 80 acres of natural Aussie countryside as the backyard, the land is part of who Beerfarm is. The venue has been converted from an old dairy farm and continues the traditions of hard work and a focus on fresh produce. The Beerfarm family welcomes those from all walks of life and different corners of the world: men, women, kids, dogs, all people are welcomed with a smile and a schooner… apart from the kids of course.

A herd of Black Angus cattle graze in the paddocks and are fed spent grain from the brewing process. Beerfarm source fresh, quality produce from local suppliers; some as local as the neighbouring farms.

Their philosophy ‘Established for the Future’, reflects how they make all our decisions at the Farm - from renewable energy sources to local partnerships. The partnership between Nathan and Eileen Booth of Burnt Ends Smoking Co with Beerfarm's very own Captain of Eats, Ben Beaton focuses on bringing you imaginative, modern food and slinging real barbecue. The lip-smacking smoked dishes and signature sides are cooked over a combination of timber, fire, charcoal and smoke and cater for multiple and varied dietary requirements.

With a united belief in doing things a little differently, when they're not making beer, cooking up delicious eats, or working on the farm, Beerfarm creates raucous good times with internationally acclaimed musos, local bands, markets and other beer-focussed shenanigans.

There are things we loved and things we did not love about this place. We loved their commitment to sustainability, the venue was 'cool' and rustic with a nice atmosphere and the food was tasty. I had the pumpkin pasta and it was full of flavour, delicious in fact. Generally the staff seemed friendly and helpful. However, we were taken to our seat in the outside 'shed' area, which really is like a large, crowded canteen, with long shared tables and where social distancing goes right out the window. Our hostess pointed to the end of a table and then turned and walked away... we were left to wander the shed looking for a menu from another table and to guess how we should order our food or drinks. That was not a good first impression. To add to this, when we visited (today), the flies were incredible in their number and their persistence to get into your open orifices was something to behold. Of course, this isn't the venue's fault and could've been a problem at every place in the South West today but it was pretty hard to enjoy a meal when every time you open your mouth to take a bite, you have to be speedy enough that a fly doesn't enter with it. I would come here again, for the pasta more than anything, but I would book ahead next time and request a table inside. Also I'd like to add how nice it is to find a place that really is dog friendly. Sherri Brazear

This place has a great 'Bar in a Shed' feel about it. The extra large dining area with the long tables to cope with the holiday crowd was just too much for me though. I need to come back when it's not so hectic. Fantastic set up in an awesome location. Great crew serving up excellent beers on tap. Sean Sinclair

Great place all around. Beers are great but there are also heaps of options for people who aren't beer/booze people. Atmosphere is great for all, saw groups of friends and families enjoying themselves. Food great also, lots of different types of food cooked beautifully. Jamie Pitcher

Fantastic venue. Even though it was slammed and staff were overrun, the staff were extremely helpful, polite and attentive at all times. The food was delicious and the waiting period was not only reasonable given the number of patrons, but was clearly explained at the time of ordering. Very cool vibe and a fun environment for adults and kids alike. Top job Beer Farm! Kieran Mills
