Guests to the Quindalup Cellar Door are encouraged to peek behind the scenes into our winery, as well as our bee-hives, chickens, biodynamic vegie patch, skate ramp, bottling line all amongst our certified organic & biodynamic vines.

Whilst tasting alternative Margaret River wine region grape varieties such as Aligoté, Sangiovese & Pinot Grigio & styles like Pétillant Naturel & ‘Orange’ wines which Blind Corner has pioneered in the industry.

Blind Corner is a certified organic & biodynamic vineyards & winery. Owners Ben and Naomi Gould started making wines from their sustainably farmed vineyard 10 years ago. The natural wines & styles they produced in the shed had not been seen in Margaret River before and were polarising for the local industry. Earning Ben very few fans amongst the local wineries. Fast forward 10 years and styles they pioneered, such as Petillant Naturel, are being made by a new wave of producers keen to flex their natural muscles. With a few industry stalwarts dipping their toes in the water too. Ben & Naomi now run 24Ha of certified Organic & BD vineyards, built a (legal) winery, are raising two young boys & Pippy the dog, adopted a 30-year-old French son (also known as employee #1, Simon), elected Neko the vineyard cat, wrangled Leroy and his flock of hippie chicks, plus rehomed a million or so of Simon’s bees. All whilst developing their natural ethos of minimising outside influences where possible.

I was super keen to visit as I was interested in the low intervention wines produced here. The atmosphere at the cellar door is warm and comfortable, with friendly and informative service without pretentious wine snobbery. We left with a small sample of the wines and I’ll be sure to order more. This winery will be added to our “must do” list for future visits. Cindy Loffell

The wine here is fantastic! If you have your doubts about organic wines or natural wines, set them aside and go and try them. Even better is the wonderful cellar door experience. We were welcomed warmly, and talked through the wines at a good pace. They have a $10 tasting fee which is redeemable on purchases, but that gets you 8 tastings! I love this format because if you can't buy wines when you're travelling, you don't feel awkward about not purchasing wines. The person doing our tasting was knowledgeable and warm, no pretention in sight. They also have great shipping options. Just go! Bronwyn Yates

We were super keen to visit this winery and cellar door and were stoked to squeeze it in on our journey back to Perth early Monday morning. Paul hosted a wonderful informative and genuine tasting, intuitive and relatable. These guys have a fabulous house style and all of the wines are solid and delicious. Put it on your list, it won't disappoint!! We also loved the furry four legged friends that greeted you as you settled into the cellar door. A memorable tasting for sure! Alicia Stiesch
