Rooms are quaint and beautiful, neat and tidy, staff are professional and friendly. The food here is wonderful and the vibes are good, nice and laid back atmosphere, love the events and music they have on. Will definitely stay here again.

I stopped by for a drink as I'd heard about the history of the hotel and wasn't disappointed. Good service and lovely hotel/gardens. Loved the parrot light fixtures in one of the rooms by the bar!

Friendly and professional service and a lovely warm welcoming atmosphere. Top class live entertainment and cosy couches in the lounge area. The ribs and fish & chips were delicious and the teens loved the nachos. We'll definitely be going back again soon!

What a lovely building. Even an open fire to sit by. I enjoyed that we could have our meals in whichever room we wished. The dinner specials were delicious and very generous. The 1900s risque photos upstairs in the foyer to the accomodation were a fascinating surprise. The Wednesday night market on the outside was a mixed range of imported and locally created products. The weather was damp and drizzling so I'm guessing some stallholders stayed away. I didn't buy much from them but all there seemed to have a family feel of looking after each other which was pleasant to be around.

Beautiful historic site. The gardens are beautiful. Amazing location. The outdoor seated area is really nice. But the interior needs improving. I find it cramped and to me red is an angry colour. And the carpets are bright red. But the live music and the summer markets are really nice. The idea of caves house and what they offer is amazing. But the food ,drinks.and events such as new years eve are overpriced
