Four of us humans and three dogs had a very pleasant picnic lunch on the beautiful grounds of Clairault Winery. The lawn was like a putting green and the views out over the vineyard were spectacular. Thank you Clairault Streicker for making this possible. We’d not been here before but will return again soon to enjoy the place. Mike Maher

Some great wines here. 6 anyway. 6 tries for $10. As a pretty serious wine drinker, it feels like a game. We did whites and the fumé and the one with long Lee’s contact will not disappoint. The reds were banned. We “overwhited.” Boo. What we had we enjoyed but generous spirit is not here. Matt and his team did well but these business practices should not win. We bought 2 instead of a carton. Kids had fun on the grounds but it’s not what it was. Arron Forrester

Had lunch and wine tasting. The lunch was average but filling. The sommelier was insanely knowledgeable (Gille?) and his accent was tricky, worth the trip just to talk with him about wine! The sommelier for the wine tasting was a bit all over the ace but managed to get 75% of what people liked during the tasting session. Simon Gregory
