Leeuwin Bean Cafe is located in one of the original Lighthouse Keepers' cottages, built in 1895. From the enclosed cafe, you can enjoy a freshly baked scone and admire Cape Leeuwin lighthouse views.

A delightful coffee shop offering a selection of sweet treats and light lunches, including freshly baked scones with jam, toasties, and homemade treats throughout the day —all whilst taking in the dynamic, ever-changing weather the beautiful Cape throws at you.

5th December 2024 - Definitely a place to visit. So many items ticked off our list. The most southwestern point of Australia, the location where 2 oceans meet and is the tallest mainland lighthouse in Australia. Our guide was a lovely and experienced man that has trekked those stairs more times than he would like to count. No wonder he is so fit. The views from the top were sensational and it is very VERY windy.

We climbed the 176 odd steps up to the top of the lighthouse and were given access to the outer ramp for fantastic 360° views of the Indian Ocean as it crashed into the mighty Southern Ocean. If you make it all the way to Cape Leeuwin it wouldn't be complete if you skip the opportunity to scale the heights of the historic lighthouse. Plus you get expert commentary from the excellent park guides.

Fascinating to learn the history of this beautiful isolated place. It felt quite special to be where two huge oceans meet each other and meet the land. We climbed the lighthouse with our guide Claire. The tour takes 30 minutes and you stop on the way up so the climb is not as tough as it initially sounds. Spectacular views at the top. Can also recommend the interpretive centre for more context of the history. Good souvenir shop too, lots of lovely (not tacky) options. One of my favourite activities during our whole time in the south west.

Beautiful place to see the meets between Indian and southern ocean. The place is windy and cool. During my visit here in the summer, there were very distinctive differences of temp when youre here compared to Perth. There were entrance ticket and tour ticket to go up to the light house, if you bringing kids, they must be 4year and above. There were cafe here to enjoy after the tour
