Molloy Hideaway Holiday Park is nestled on the banks of the Blackwood River about 15km north east of Augusta (on the mainland, not on Molloy Island). Here, you can relax in a natural bush setting among native wildlife and there's lots to do: water-skiing, fishing, kayaking/canoeing, paddleboarding and whale watching. It offers cottages, cabins and a chalet as well as shady powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites. It also has private boat launching facilities, kayak and pedal kart hire, and fuel, ice and bait supplies.

A fabulous, family friendly holiday park right on the river bank in a bush setting. We were on an unpowered site on the bank on the river. This time of year means that you can have a fire, with a pit on each site. Reception was very friendly and helpful. The amenities are clean, with the showers being instantly hot. Friendly kangaroos and abundant birdlife add to the experience. So many water activity mean the kids are totally occupied. An added bonus was The Little Hands Asian van frequenting the park on a Sunday night. The food was delicious. Loved our time here and highly recommend.

Thank you for an amazing weekend away. Absolute magical views of the Blackwood River, super friendly and informative staff and clean amenities. Great to see children getting back to nature within the park and the interaction with the kangaroos, ducks and parrots was awesome. The perfect location to be in nature. Definitely be returning in the very near future.

Really enjoyed our 5 night stay, location is excellent, staff are friendly & helpful. Couldn't fault it. Very relaxing & tranquil. The wildlife were a highlight, you respect them and they respect you, kangaroos that eat out of your hand, the ducks & birds, the shop on site sells bags of food, such a great idea. Coffee van that comes in the morning is a bonus. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend the Holiday Park.

This is indeed a beautiful place to camp. Read all the five star reviews. They sum it up. Location, especially on the river is fabulous. We arrived during the school holidays. Families must love this place. Lots for kids to do while parents get some valuable down time. I’d have certainly brought our kids here when they were much younger. We did, however, choose to cut our stay short. As an older couple, we’re not used to the hustle and bustle of families energetically doing their thing especially when toddlers don’t get their way. I remember doing exactly the same as a parent of a young family, especially during holidays. I’m certainly not criticising them. But, I’ve always wondered why holidays parks can’t have zones for couples and zones for families. It makes sense. Families around other families are great. Our kids made lots of friends with other campers when they were little. We’ve even been to a family wedding resulting from that kind of campground friendship. Nowadays, however, I’d opt for the couples area every time. It’s the campground experience I’m after, these days and occasionally we can also meet people our age and share a few stories. I’m just hoping that there can be some common sense changes so we all get the stay that we pay for. I don’t think that would be too difficult and we have to be better for everyone.
