Brewing a revolving list of seasonally inspired beers in-house, paired with delicious wood-fired, family-style share menu utilising local, seasonal produce. Family friendly with a nature play inspired playground.
  • Seasonal, crafted beers;
  • Wood-fired share menu;
  • Local wines & spirits;
  • Family & dog friendly;
  • Scenic bush setting;
  • Cosy wood fire.
Created by a family of three generations, Wild Hop's welcoming brewpub focuses on producing small batches of seasonal, character filled beers.  With picturesque views out over the quintessential Aussie dam (lake), down the Gunyulgup valley and to the vineyards beyond allowing you to unwind while the nature play based playground keeps the little ones occupied for hours. With well-behaved dogs on leads welcome, it’s a space for the whole family to enjoy.

Summers are best spent on the expansive deck, under the shade of the long-established Cottonwood tree. Winters are better enjoyed indoors by the fire, taking in the views of approaching storms through the expansive industrial-style steel-framed windows. Although, if you are travelling with your furry friend, you are welcome to hang on the enclosed and heated veranda areas.

The kitchen is open from 11am to 5pm daily, serving up fresh, local, wood-fired dishes designed to be shared family-style. The menu changes really regularly, but you can expect the likes of rotisserie chicken, tomahawk steaks, and an assortment of chargrilled vegetable dishes or farm-fresh salads. If you are dining solo, or have a craving for traditional brewery food, try the brewer’s buns – Wild Hop's answer to a burger, featuring roasted, smoked, or braised meats, and served with rustic chips. An assortment of vegetarian and vegan options are available across the menu, and no visit is complete without a side serve of the deep-fried pickles!

Lovely big open space espically for families with kids. They had a large outdoor playground area that ensures kids have just as much fun as the adults as well! Menu was pretty extensive with good meat and veg choices that ensures everyone will be able to find something they like. We particularly enjoyed the chicken rotisserie, pork ribs, sweet corn and beer battered pickles the most and highly recommend trying them! Oh, they have an amazing list of beers to choose from that will surely leave you spoilt for choice. Overall, great views coupled with welcoming staff, and delicious food and beer makes this place worth visiting. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing place! The garden is beautiful, and there’s a playground for the kids. They offer a great variety of beers and food options. We loved it—especially the pork knuckle and the beers you can choose based on your own taste. The atmosphere inside is warm and cozy, and there’s even a fireplace where you can relax and enjoy the moment 🔥

We found the food portions quite small, which made it feel a bit overpriced. We ordered the beef brisket and pork knuckle—unfortunately, both meats were average and lacked juiciness. The beef brisket, in particular, would have benefited from more sauce on the side. The highlight of our visit was the location—great ambiance, and the beer was actually quite good.

Wild Hop Brewery – A Must in Margaret River! This place nails it on every level. Beautiful open space, perfect for families – the outdoor playground kept the kids busy while we kicked back and enjoyed the view and great food. Food highlights: Chicken rotisserie – juicy and packed with flavour Pork ribs – tender and rich Sweet corn & beer battered pickles – total crowd-pleasers Sweet potato salad – light, fresh and a great combo with barley Nick’s Hot Dog – soft bun, tasty sausage, sweet toppings = win Chips – hands down some of the best. Crunchy, golden, not greasy Massive range of beers to choose from (if that’s your thing), and if not – the food alone is worth it. Bonus: cozy tables under the trees, friendly staff, and relaxed vibes. We always make a stop here when in the region. 100% recommend!
