Molloy Hideaway Holiday Park is nestled on the banks of the Blackwood River about 15km north east of Augusta (on the mainland, not on Molloy Island). Here, you can relax in a natural bush setting among native wildlife and there's lots to do: water-skiing, fishing, kayaking/canoeing, paddleboarding and whale watching. It offers cottages, cabins and a chalet as well as shady powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites. It also has private boat launching facilities, kayak and pedal kart hire, and fuel, ice and bait supplies.
Ahhh, Molloy Hideaway Holiday Park is a place to kick back and relax. Nestled on the mainland side of the Blackwood River (not on Molloy Island), this family-friendly holiday park is out of town and away from all the hustle and bustle. Here you can pack the esky, launch the boat and go in search of the big one! Or you can just chill and immerse yourself in the latest bestseller. There’s lots of fun stuff for the kids (and the big kids) like paddleboarding, canoeing or kayaking, water-skiing, pedal karts and a games room. The whole family will enjoy spotting the abundant wildlife in the park including kangaroos, parrots, ducks and geese. And when the day is done, grab a coldie and park yourself around the campfire or barbecue with your mates. There are private boat launching facilities and room to park your boat, with a kiosk providing essential ice, bait and fuel supplies as well as basic food items, ice-creams and cold drinks.

Great experience. Sue and Bill are the star attractions. Great organisers and wonderful customer care skills. Highly knowledgeable about the area and Area's great ambassadors. Highly impressed.

The caretakers are so nice and the place is well kept. We will be back in a heart beat. We had some friendly visitors and also caught a handful of bream. Our spot was right on the water. Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better :)

I stayed at the park in Jan 2022. It is a lovely well kept park and the ablutions were extremely well maintained. Amazing they could keep them so clean with the high patronage. Everything is as the advertising. We had a fabulous time interacting with the wildlife and on the Blackwood River

Tranquil spot but also popular with wake boarders and boating, which happens away from the site. The usual facilities including fuel are available with some friendly wildlife. If you don't like getting woken at 5am by keen boaters launching their boats, avoided sites around #70 although these offer beautiful views of the river. The other end of the bays are tucked into a shady are protected from the wind. Swimming is fine but not a beach type scenario.
