We tasted the beer at our local but, getting it straight from the source was next level. They looked at capacity but advised empty tables could be found. Angus beef burger and charcoal octopus were to die for. Their beer selection was incredible. Highly recommended.

Returned for another round of "Raise the Steaks" with friends 2 weeks ago. Just like the last visit, the meat was fantastically cooked, a generous size and of high quality. The sides were great, well cooked potatoes, corn ribs and pumpkin this time instead of the fantastic cauliflower we had last time that broke my heart just a little bit l, but that's the nature of local seasonal food. On tap, the limited release autumn ale was a stand out, give it a go if it is still available. Staff is super friendly, atmosphere is great and food orders are turned around quickly. Great value and a must do if you are visiting margs.

Great food, great beer! I ordered the cider and the chargrilled octopus and my husband had the Angus burger and the pale ale, we couldn’t fault anything - the octopus was perfectly cooked and tender, and the salad sauce reminded me of gado gad. Hubs burger was meaty and well cooked, it was juicy and perfectly garnished, the chips were all super crunchy and delicious. I definitely recommend the cider if you like it crisp and dry, it’s not super sweet and was really refreshing, the pale ale had those classic citrus notes and light but wasn’t overly bitter. Would definitely visit again

One of my all time favourite places. Especially enjoy the hazy IPA. I make it a point to visit at least once a year, mostly in the spring. They now have a revamped menu. The food still tastes great - we had the octopus, chicken wings, fried lamb ribs and the burger. I miss the old menu though (although I see some comments about the menu being the same). I miss the old chargrilled octopus and the chicken wings (they were both bigger n tastier) - those would get 5 🌟.
