Shelter sits at the foot of the famous Busselton Jetty, overlooking tinnies on the bay, foreshore picnics and kids competing for the biggest bombie. It’s the perfect place to wash away the salt of the day with a cold beer and a big feed. You’re safe from the Busselton seagulls here - the only person stealing your chips will be your mate!

Shelter Brewing Co. was created by locals for locals, long-weekenders, visitors from distant lands and really, anyone looking for a fresh, tasty beer and a good feed. They make great craft beer on-site at the venue on the foreshore, which is poured fresh-as-it-gets straight from serving tanks, or canned and sent to your local bottle-o.

It’s not all beer, they've got a south-west-inspired wine and spirits list and a menu that focuses on simple food made beautifully, with the freshest and best local ingredients. They love food made to share and food that leaves you satisfied. They take pizza seriously - their kitchen revolves around the bright yellow Marana Forni pizza oven they had imported from Italy.

They've got great function spaces that suit all events, from small get-togethers to big affairs. Their main function room has spectacular views over the brewery floor and the brewer’s deck offers a smaller space for more intimate affairs.

The location is great as it just before the Busselton Jetty. It's a micro brewery and restaurant. You can get seafood, burgers, pizza and salad. The potion is good. Ordered the prosciutto pizza and it was delicious. It has a tinge of spicness. The chicken burger is tender.

Shelter Brewing Co stands out from the rest, on the Busselton esplanade. Many restaurants to choose from, we selected here and were very pleased. We shared a wood-fired prosciutto pizza, absolutely delicious. [Only down was the flies, they started that week, so hopefully gone soon ! ] We also visited the Market on Signal Park. And, of course, walked the esplanade to see the famous Busselton Jetty! Yes, well recommended.

Great local brewery/ pub that caters to small and large groups. Service staff are warm and the food is decent. Wait time for food is within reason. You will want to make reservations If group size is more than 6. Ample parking and certain tables will have views of the jetty. Outside sitting is available for patrons with pets or wanting to bask in the sub/ gas heaters. Payment is cashless via their online ordering or the wait staff can take your orders and payment made via eftpos.

Shelter Brewing Co has a great location right by the foreshore with a lively vibe and plenty of seating. The beers are decent and the setting makes it a good spot to relax. That said, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. Service was a bit slow, the food was average for the price, and surprisingly there were no fish and chips on the menu – which felt like a big miss for a coastal brewery. Overall, it’s more about the venue than the quality. Worth a visit, but not outstanding – 3 stars.
