Head Distiller and Founder Cameron Syme has been distilling premium craft spirits since 2004, for the most part in Albany until Margaret River Distilling Company officially opened for business in November 2015.
All products produced are available to taste in the venue, offering casual tavern-style dining all day in a lush forest backdrop and just a short walk from the town centre. With an extensive range of tastings available there is sure to be something for everyone, including Single Malt Whisky, American style Whiskey, Gin, Vodka, and other special limited edition spirits.
To satisfy every need there is also a range of locally-sourced beer, wine, cider, coffee, and an all-day menu to keep the whole family happy. Plus they are dog-friendly!
If you have ever wanted to be a Distiller for a day, then the Giniversity experiences are the perfect way to give it a try. The Gin Blending Class takes you through the history of gin, learn spirit-making practices, sample the Giniversity range, and then design and blend your own bespoke recipe. Each participant then takes home their own custom 500ml bottle of gin.
