All Sea Charters is a local family-owned and operated business that has been providing whale watching experiences since 2001 and consistently receives 5-star reviews of its service. On its tours, Humpback Whales, southern right whales, the rare Blue Whale, dolphins, and a vast array of seabirds can be sighted.
Over 40,000 whales pass the region's pristine coastline each year. Migration starts in Augusta from May to August where you see the mighty Humpback travel north to warmer waters to calve and mate. You might also be lucky enough to see the endangered Southern Right whale nurturing their newborn calves close to shore in Flinders Bay, often along untouched beaches.
From September until mid-November, All Sea Charters move to Geographe Bay, with tours departing from Dunsborough and Busselton, catching the Humpback Whales on their southern migration back to the cooler waters of Antarctica to begin feeding. These Whales have newborn calves with them as they transit and rest in the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay. From early October, the Blue Whale also transits the bay, becoming one of the only spots in the world where you can see one of the rarest and biggest mammals.
All Sea Charters limits guest numbers on their boat to offer a more personal experience. The flybridge offers 360-degree views of the whales, and you can also get an up-close experience from the roomy bow. There is also a comfortable cabin for those who wish to stay inside while still being able to experience the 360-degree views.
All Sea Charters offers:
