Our visit today was on a quieter day, lucky for us. The ramp up the entwined vines archway had a lovely feel, dogs are allowed however not in the Cellar Door itself. We were instantly welcomed into the Cellar Door by Emma, already assisting other guests with tastings & purchases Emma made time to guide us through an informative tasting & made our visit memorable. There was no restaurant to order food from, available was a lovely array of goodies to purchase, including award-winning & GF crackers with an assortment of spreads & relishes, you could take home or enjoy with a bottle or glass of your most enjoyed wine by the open fire or vineyard view from any of the tables inside or out. Thank you Emma for a lovely experience we will be back.

A perfect escape from the everyday. We had such a lovely visit to this beautiful winery. Emma gave us a warm welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable setting overlooking the vineyard. The wine tasting was excellent—each pour thoughtfully paired with wine-friendly cheese and crackers. We learnt the history of the wines and their distinctive flavours. A truly delightful experience. Highly recommend making a stop here.

Spent a lovely afternoon at Capel Vale Wines. Emma invited us to have a seat while she brought every course of the tasting menu to us, shutting between guests at the counter and us who were reading and soaking up the lovely views while tasting their variety of wines. A great part of the experience was being able to compare different shirazs or different cab sauvs from the same label. As sit in customers we also got to purchase cheeses to accompany our wines. Emma set us up with a cheeseboard, knives, plates and napkins, and really engaging conversations about the wines and her experiences living in Busselton. One regret was we couldn't take any Capel ducks with us (though we did leave with a good bottle of our favourite wine). Pls consider making cards with your coloured label artwork, or plushies of your green, gold and white duck, or good quality wooden ducks - like the oriental mandarin duck ornaments, classy and display worthy. I'll be back for a duck if you launch them.

An AMAZING wine tasting experience. Mel and Genevieve were so kind and knowledgeable of the Capel wines. I did a white wine tasting and really enjoyed it all. The most surprising of the wines were the Chardonnay and the sparkling rose. Mel told me to keep a little of the Chardonnay in my mouth for 10 seconds and it changed the taste. And it did! It is so good. The sparkling rose is naturally fermented and the carbonation was also natural. It was a cute name What the Duck ha ha. The roses and purple butterfly bushes at the entrance are a breathtaking view. A gorgeous property and fun place to sample some excellent dry white wines. They have reds as well but I am just a white wine fan. Thank you for making my day!
