At the heart of Manjimup’s famed Seven Day Road is the home of Western Australia’s first truffière, Truffle Hill surrounded by vineyards, orchards and majestic rolling hills, our estate produces rare and delicious black winter truffles (Tuber melanosporum) and award-winning cool climate wines.

Since its establishment in 1997, passion and dedication, coupled with an extraordinary microclimate, has seen Truffle Hill become the largest producer of superior black Périgord truffles in the world and a premier truffière. Truffle Hill is one of the few truffières in the world that allows a select number of people to participate in the rare privilege of a truffle hunting experience during the winter months.

Surrounded by rows of truffle trees, trellised vines and rolling hills, Truffle Hill invites visitors to their cellar door to experience the romance of partnering award winning wine alongside the rare and delicious black truffle.

I was looking forward to visiting this place. Food was “meh”. Truffle risotto was all risotto no truffle. Needed salt. My Sicilian wife’s risotto is better and that’s free. Other dishes while well presented were also very average when it came to flavour. And boy did we need to wait for our entree / over an hour FFS. The only saving grace was their attentive and very welcoming French waitress who’s a gem. Pay her more, move food faster through the kitchen, and amp up the flavour. And keep being dog-friendly.

Great meal by the side of the dam on a beautiful day. Staff were amazing, wines tasted at the table as we had our dog with us, they even brought a rug out for our dog to sit on! Food very very tasty. Small menu, but delicious. Would recommend.

We had a truly lovely experience at Truffle Hill and couldn’t fault either the food or the service. We came to visit the shop yesterday (Jan. 16 2026) and ended up buying a jar of truffle mustard, truffle ponzu, a catering-sized jar of Truffle Aioli, Truffle Paste (would have purchased a larger jar if it was available), Plum Pudding and Caramel fudge sauce, and a large bottle of Truffle Oil. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, too! We decided to visit the restaurant the very next day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Vicky and Janelle were both incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our visit. Janelle mentioned she’s quite new, but you honestly wouldn’t know it — she did a wonderful job and was warm, friendly, and professional. Vicky was equally attentive and made sure we were comfortable and well looked after the entire time. Together, they were fantastic and very in tune with our needs. We were also so impressed with how dog-friendly the restaurant is. They immediately offered our dog Louie a mat and a bowl of fresh water, and he was spoiled with treats throughout our time there — such a thoughtful touch that really made the experience special for us. The food was great! To start with, we had the mini truffle toast, which was absolutely delicious and a perfect little indulgence. For mains, we had the Cordon Bleu and the roast duck, both beautifully cooked and full of flavour. To drink, my partner had the Merlot and he said it was very good. I don’t drink so I had LLB. For dessert, we shared the truffle brie and the apricot tarte tatin, and both were rich, well-balanced, and the perfect way to finish the meal. To accompany our dessert, we had the hot chocolate and the dessert Shiraz. They were delicious! As I’ve said, I don’t drink, but I wouldn’t mind taking a sip of their dessert Shiraz! A wonderful meal, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Truffle Hill — especially if you’re visiting with a dog 🐾 Side note: we forgot to take a photo of the toast before eating 3/6 of them! I also demolished the Cordon Bleu and the apricot tatin, so there aren’t any photos of those. Sorry, not sorry.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and beautifully presented, real talent from the chef. Great atmosphere and excellent service: friendly, attentive and professional staff. Highly recommended, I’ll definitely come back!
