All of the comforts of home are provided to ensure your stay is hassle-free.

The Story of Yelverton Brook

Joy & Simon purchased Yelverton Brook as a 100-acre virgin bush block in 1988. Driven by a passion for conservation and sustainable living, their vision was to create nature-based accommodation that protected the surrounding bushland while offering guests an unforgettable wildlife experience. Each of the Lodges and Studios has been lovingly hand-built from sustainably sourced materials and features environmentally sensitive design. Positioned within natural bushland clearings, every building was carefully placed to minimise environmental impact while creating privacy and a true sense of seclusion.

Today, Yelverton Brook provides a safe haven for native wildlife and has supported conservation programs through carefully managed wildlife reintroductions and releases over many years. The sanctuary is home to friendly western grey kangaroos, brushtail possums, southern brown bandicoots and more than 50 species of native birds. Protected by a 2.4-kilometre predator-proof fence, the bushland continues to regenerate naturally, creating a peaceful environment for both wildlife and guests.

We had a wonderful stay here. It's in a truly beautiful and idyllic location surrounded by nature. The accommodation was excellent—very clean, well maintained, and extremely comfortable. One of our highlights was the wildlife. There are many kangaroos, possums, and other animals right around the property that made our stay feel very special and unique. For us, it was the perfect place to slow down, and enjoy some peaceful time in nature. We would definitely love to come back.

We stayed here for a last-minute getaway over the past long weekend. The cabin was lovely and had everything you would need. The kangaroos were so beautiful and friendly too. We had so many around the cabin. We also had possums, parrots and a range of birds. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus. Thank you for having us, Laith and Annie

Yelverton has 5 stand alone cabins for accommodation. I don't know much about them. We have our own self contained Caravan and we are parked in complete serenity, near trees, and no neighbours in sight. Very peaceful. We are camped here on last week of the year, and we have 10 acres of land to choose where to camp. All other venues are fully booked at this time of the year. Hosts live on the property and are very accommodating. Recommend to anyone needing peace and quiet time.

The memories of this magic spot will stay with me forever. Such a perfect place to unwind, relax and immerse myself in the beautiful surroundings. The luxury of a private spa can never be underestimated! Thank you Yelverton Brook - we'll be back. Hope the roos, possums and birds will be there to share our holiday again next time!
