Confluence: A Collaborative Exhibition at Yallingup Galleries

calendar
Saturday, 28th February 2026 - Sunday, 8th March 2026

Description

Confluence is a unique collaborative exhibition at Yallingup Galleries, bringing together the innovative practice of Christophe Domergue with a selection of leading Yallingup Galleries artists.

At the heart of the exhibition is Domergue’s distinctive Peelings technique, where layers of resin, pigment, and fibreglass are lifted from urban surfaces to create textured, translucent sculptural works. These peelings are then reinterpreted by invited artists, each responding in their own style to the material, surface, and form.

The exhibition’s title refers to the meeting of two rivers, reflecting the coming together of different artistic voices, mediums, and ideas. The resulting works explore collaboration, light, and texture, offering visitors an engaging and visually rich experience.

Featuring works by Brendon Darby, Christine Hingston, Damien Gavillet, Emma Skinner, Gina D’Alessandro, Ingrid Windram, Josh Windram, Kat Hardwick, Kim Maple, Leanne Pearson, Leon Holmes, Millie Gillespie, Roslyn Hamdorf, Sam Broadhurst, Tanya Cole, and Tatiana Amaral.
