Margaret River Region Open Studios

This September, 154 artists across the Margaret River Region will open their studio doors – and you’re invited in.

Now in its 13th year, Margaret River Region Open Studios has earned its place as one of WA’s most loved arts events, recently taking home Silver at the Australian Tourism Awards for Festivals and Events.

Explore studios tucked into converted barns, sea containers, railway carriages and artists’ homes, from Busselton to Augusta. See clay take shape on the wheel, sparks fly under a welders’ torch, and smell the linseed oil.

This year’s line-up spans established names – Leon Pericles, Christian Fletcher, Rob Malcolm, Mary-Lynne Stratton and Nathan Day – alongside emerging and mid-career artists you might be discovering for the very first time. Whether you’re browsing, buying or simply soaking it all in, there’s something here for every kind of art lover.
