Great venue and would rate this higher than a winery - could spend all day here if you wanted to bring a picnic or have a meal here. Lots of mazes to entertain you- then the small outdoor games too, not to mention the indoor board games to play. My 7 year old enjoyed the giant chess and then bocci. I enjoyed the large hedge maze, and the history behind the venue. Great staff to talk to as well.

Highly, highly recommended! The main maze will surprise you at its size and complexity (with emergency exits if you really get lost). And if you do it, check the back of the handout for a list of 9 crafted bench-seat backs to hunt for - a neat ‘side quest’ for those who find mazes a bit too easy alone. On top of that, other puzzles that were much briefer but still fun, decent coffee and snacks, and mini-golf (which we didn’t try, I’m afraid).More than well worth a stop.

A lovely garden itself, not just the grown-up size maze which is fun and interesting to walk through...reminds one of the Harry Potter scene. My kids played chess under the tree too, the game became much more interesting with the big chess set. We spent the whole afternoon there, and would like to come back again the next time we are in town.
