We were a group of friends having a winter getaway with 19 in total (2 couldn’t make it due to illness). It was perfect. Plenty of spaces, outdoors on the grass area , we enjoyed good company, platters of delicious food and the sunshine. The communal kitchen was great for all the food and drinks, storage, prep and cleanup. The bbq deck and seating area was another space people gathered whilst food was cooked and the dining room is a comfortable, lovely space in which we feasted. The adjoining lounge area with super comfy seating with heating and mood lighting was perfect for reading, games, chatting or looking through the brochures of local activities.

We rented the whole hotel with a large group of friends for the weekend. It was perfect, the rooms are fantastic, spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is huge , with fridges and the breakfast provided was plenty. The dinning room and connected lounge room was great for shared meals and socialising. The outdoor area with benches , tables, chairs and bbq provided is also connected to the kitchen area and was also lovely. The staff super helpful and friendly. Perfect location for walks along the river and town. We will come back in the future. Thank you for making our big getaway a positive, memorable experience.

We had a great weekend with our large group of family and friends! The entire place to ourselves. Rooms are clean and tastefully renovated in coastal chic. Beds were super comfortable and communal areas, living room, dining room and commercial kitchen were all perfect. Some of us had rooms with ensuite, but shared facilities were great too and plenty of extra toilets too. Outdoor seating was great too. 5mins walk to the beautiful river walk and pub, 2mins to the bakery. Highly recommend. We will be back

Beautiful rooms with a lovely breakfast space and ocean views all around the manor. Always reminded that love is the answer when staying at Baywatch Retreat!
