Crafting some of the finest wines from Margaret River, the passion and expertise of the whole team is evident in every drop.

With its state-of-the-art winery, Deep Woods Estate is at the frontline of producers leading a new wave in Margaret River. With a talented team that combines traditional and modern winemaking techniques, Deep Woods has become the biggest producer of Rosé in Western Australia, as well as arguably Australia’s best and most consistent producer of
Cabernet Sauvignon.

Unique viticultural practices, together with Margaret River’s exceptional climate and soil, deliver superior-quality fruit of intense flavour year to year. Each of the Deep Woods Estate wine ranges over-delivers in value and is produced in unwavering pursuit of excellence.

Deep Woods Estate is located in the Margaret River sub-region known as the Yallingup Hills. The 32-hectare property is perched high on a ridge overlooking a picturesque, secluded valley surrounded by large jarrah and marri trees. The estate comprises a modern winery, vineyard, cellar door, bottling line and homestead. With its large natural spring, dense woodlands and spectacular views, Deep Woods Estate is one of the region’s most scenic wineries.

Enjoy a relaxed tasting of the award-winning varieties and styles with the friendly and knowledgeable staff at the Estate's Cellar Door. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic foods to enjoy on the lawn along with a chilled bottle of something fabulous from the cellar door.

After being acquired by the Fogarty Wine Group in 2005, the vineyard was reworked and a new vineyard maintenance program was introduced, utilising sustainable vineyard practices to improve fruit quality and produce smaller, higher-quality yields. This philosophy has produced outstanding fruit and superior wines—including award-winning Cabernet and Chardonnay—which are processed and bottled in small batches.

Deep Woods constant pursuit of excellence has been recently recognised with the naming of Chief Winemaker Julian Langworthy as James Halliday's Winemaker of the Year 2019 and with Deep Woods named as Ray Jordan's Winery of the Year 2017.

Return visit to this Winery. This time we were given a slightly larger taste than last time. It was busy even just on opening time. Great wines, bought the SSB, the Chardonnay and the Cab Sav Merlot. Highly recommend that you visit here. Friendly, chatty staff ,good wines and a good aspect. We will be calling in again. Peter Eggels

Wonderful wines, especially liked their sparkling & Rosé. The service was friendly and it was a nice vineyard to take a break and look out at the vines on our day of tasting . Highly recommend Ryan Michael

Had a fantastic wine tasting here several days ago, staff were terrific and friendly. The wines were superb, and the views over the valley and vineyards very special. Perfect for a BYO picnic. Almost didn't want to review Deep Woods because I don't want others to know about it! Outstanding value for money. Eleanor Ludington

Had a tasting and loved the wines. Enjoyed our purchases having just finished the chardonnay. If I had one complaint it was that the tastes were so small to make it difficult to get a real feel for the wine Christine Young

Only 4 atars as I have not yet been there. The Cabernet Shiraz is so easy to drink amd enjoy. Definitely looking forward to my visit in December 2017 and January 2018. Available at a Dan Murphy's store and very reasonably priced. Great work Deep Woods. So looking forward to visiting and experiencing your Estate in Margaret River Western Australia. Casey Cutters
