Overview

Are you looking for a great casual dining experience while in Margaret River?

More information

Margaret River is such a great place - there is so much for the senses. Beautiful trees, amazing beaches, tracks to explore, the river to wander along, wineries and art galleries. Out of this area also comes outstanding locally grown and produced food and drink. This is what we aim to bring to you.

Start your day with one of our popular breakfasts, gather with friends over a lazy lunch or call in for great coffee. Our café, set in the converted Old Shire Library near the centre of town, is cosy and friendly, offering food that echoes the excellence of the region.

We call it ‘relaxed excellence’.

We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be able to combine our enjoyment of café dining and meeting people with being able to live in this part of the world. We also have a great team on board. Our Executive head chef takes café food to the next level. Every dish, every element, that comes from our kitchen is made here by us for you. We have trained at the WA Barista Academy to bring out the best of the Five Senses Coffee Bean. Fresh grinds every time. The style and feel of the café is very much us, somewhere we’d like to go.

We’d love you to come too!

Luckily picked this nice little restaurant for a lunch because the famous local bakery was not open on Sundays. Clean and stylish environment. Friendly owners and waitresses. The world map of 1900 on the wall shows Mongolia belongs to China and Taiwan was still a Japanese colony, Europe looks different as well on the map. Food, was amazing. The Thai beef salad was served with high fiber noddles. The taste was kinda Australian modified Thai, but really nice. Highly recommended if you like to have something light. The pulled pork wrap was delicious too. The pork is softly tender and tasty. It's a bit richer than the Thai beef salary and would be a good choice if you are really hungry.

Had breakfast here this morning, eggs Florentine and classic breakfast, all were excellent. Hot, beautifully cooked and well seasoned. Coffee and hot chocolate were also great. Best breakfast I’ve had for a very long time. Highly recommended.

Amazing food and I think by far the best breakfast available close to the high street. Eggs Florentine is super good, as is the sun-dried tomato muffin. Visited here 3x in a 1 week trip to Margaret River.
