Humpback Whale Migration
Every year more than 35,000 Humpback whales plus other species including Blue Whales, Southern Right Whales & Minke Whales migrate along the West Australian coastline on their annual migration to the warmer waters. This 6 month migration gives Naturaliste Charters the opportunity to provide informative, fun and interactive Whale Watching tours from 4 different locations including Augusta, Albany, Dunsborough & Busselton. Each family-friendly tour goes for approx 2.5 hours and offers a 99% success sighting rate, if you don't see whales on your tour you can join another for free! Each tour offers expert commentary, great viewing of the whales and morning or afternoon tea.

A 20-metre catamaran vessel, the beautiful ‘Alison Maree’ is purpose-built for the Southern Ocean, providing excellent stability and comfort for passengers. Great viewing from the cabin and fantastic viewing areas from the flybridge, bow and stern. Spend time spotting wildlife on the bow, the huge upper and lower rear decks or try all three. Inside join the skipper on the flybridge for the ultimate 360-degree birds-eye view or relax in the air-conditioned, spacious and comfortable main saloon.

The vessel Dhu Force is a single-hulled 18m Conquest, the perfect vessel to enhance your day on the water. A beautiful rear deck provides the perfect location for your wildlife encounter. There is plenty of open space for uninterrupted views and safe, high railings. Around 80% of the deck is covered for those long, sunny days, and if it rains, you can enjoy the ocean without a soaking!

Had a lovely day out with the family and group of friends. Making the booking was great, no pressure and because of the poor weather got updated the trip was going ahead in the afternoon. The crew were great, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Our group were fine but a family was well looked after by the crew as the felt poorly because of the motion of the ocean. Saw whales and a lovely morning was had. We departed from Augusta. Garth S

Crew were fantastic. Friendly, relaxed but highly alert, in control, could predict where people needed assistance, both physically and medically. The pilot and photographers are highly professional - we were surrounded by orcas and the photos are wow memories. The marine biologist was informative and we hope a second marine park is established to protect the environment and the sea and air animals that own it. Food and drinks freely available and more than adequate. The boat handled the conditions extremely well and we felt very safe. A fantastic experience. Thank you Naturaliste and all involved.
