The Beerfarm

Breweries, Cideries & Distilleries

Overview

Cultivating good times, beers, steers and John Deer's since 2015!

More information

Welcome to The Beer Farm - an original working dairy farm in Metricup now converted to one of the Margaret River Region's newest breweries!

Offering a rustic and historic experience The Beer Farm uses the converted dairy farm as a beer-centric visitor venue. The main entrance was the old creamery; the Roundhouse (where the cows were milked) is now the Brewhouse and the tavern tasting bar is the old hay shed overlooking 30 head of grain fed cattle grazing its picturesque property.

Brewing and pouring their own quality speciality beers the bar serves an Australian Bitter made from 94% WA sourced ingredients and a Cider made from locally sourced Manjimup apples. A lager and brown lager are in the works and small batch wine and spirit maker collaborations add to the bar menu. And as you would expect in Australia’s South West’s world class gourmet food destination, the grazing stock in view will soon be a part of the paddock to plate food truck offering.

Family friendly, this venue is a perfect start to an ale trail adventure with plenty of space for kids to stretch their legs.

Brilliant spot, food was delicious and being dog friendly was a huge plus. The venue is big, well lit and has a great atmosphere and being relatively close to the town of Margaret River, its not a long drive to get too. They serve an amazing Beef Brisket burger with chips (which was our favourite) and when paired with one of their MANY craft beer options, it was a lunch worth the effort. Heaps of things for kids to do, had a water slide when we wear there and theres various toys and play equipment around.

Nice food and location. Came down for lunch on a nice sunny 33c day during school holidays and the slide isn’t open? A pub full of kids with rashies’ minus the slide. Asked the staff if they could turn the tap on and switch on the pump was told no. No mention on the website of times and no phone number to call and ask.
