Western Australian’s south west region is unique, with fresh pristine breezes blowing in from the Indian Ocean, green lush pastures, many natural wonders and abundant sunshine. It is recognised internationally as a region for producing quality produce.

The Margaret River Dairy Company has tapped into the region and been producing beautiful award-winning cheeses and delicious yoghurts for you to try and buy.

Visit the shop today to enjoy a free tasting of The Margaret River Dairy Company's award-winning cheeses and yoghurts. Located on Bussell Highway (on your way into or out of Margaret River Town itself), you can enjoy the best dairy produce the region has to offer.

The luscious cheese ranges include:
  • Farmhouse Cheese – a range of semi-soft flavoured cheeses
  • Club Cheddars – full bodies cheddars in a variety of flavours
  • Soft ripened cheeses – both Brie and Camembert, from mildly aromatic to the new Reserve ranges, these are truly excellent speciality cheeses.
  • All of the yoghurts are "pot-set", which means they are free from gums, gelatins and starches - and they come in a range of high-quality flavours.

The Margaret Dairy River Company only utilises the best ingredients and make all of their products the traditional way, right here in Margaret River.

This place doesn't even need a review page. We all went here from word of mouth, friends or family. Someone we knew who went here and loved what they bought. We bought some cheese or something absolutely tasty. Took it home and tried it. And instantly eating it we wanted to jump back in our cars and go all the way back down th Margaret River just to get more! You are lying if you didnt..... Definitely some great cheese and some cool little souvenirs you can buy. Just go, you will never ever regret it. Roary
Clean neat Friendly staff Beautiful cheeses Try the onion jam!!! LINA Silver
Nice new venue and very clean and well laid out. The staff were pleasant but not overly friendly or accommodating, more interested in refilling the cabinet. We would have appreciated some tastings (happy to pay for them and would be in-line with most local wineries) however we understand this is likely deliberately cancelled due to COVID restrictions. We would recommend a small cafe on the side using their products (fresh bread, fresh butter, local thick cut ham and you pick of the cheese in a toasted sandwich) even if just takeaway - we would have bought half a dozen and not spent our money on the road home out of town. The milk shake was amazing and the best item we got from the shop! William Thorn
They had our favourite local yoghurt and cheddar! Happy faces behind the counter and having designated parking space for motorhomes/ campervan was a plus. Joanna Lim
A must visit on your tourist calendar when down in this region. The cheeses are extremely yum and such a huge selection of dairy produce and salad dressings Dianne McNevin
