Yarri honours nature, seasonality and this region - the people, produce and place.

Located in Dunsborough, Yarri is a restaurant for date nights, quick bites, long lunches or a sneaky afternoon drink in the courtyard.

Yarri Restaurant + Bar is a collaboration between co-founders of Snake + Herring Wines Redmond Sweeny, Sal and Tony Davis, and chef Aaron Carr.

Yarri sources ethically produced ingredients and present them simply, at their fullest potential. Yarri cuisine is a celebration of the specialist growers and farmers, vignerons, distillers, fishermen, butchers, cheese makers and many more people that make up this region. The restaurant is a celebration of their commitment to good food and quality in the glass.

The restaurant interiors, by international restaurant designer Samantha Eades Design, are richly layered and textured, incorporating Yarri wood from the site, limestone, worn leather, copper and terracotta, reflecting the bushland palette of its location.

You can dine at the kitchen bar and watch the chef's prepare the food for you, there are large tables for big groups and intimate banquette seating and a drinks bar with lush leather seats where you can have your cocktails prepared. When the weather is at the South West's finest, there is relaxed outdoor seating under the trees in the courtyard where you can sit back relax and watch the hours slip away

Lovely venue and beautiful food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a set menu with only a choice of 2 mains but we enjoy all 3 courses. The wine selection was good and we took our receipt to Snake + Herring winery the next day and received 15% off our purchases at the cellar door. Lisa
Thanks so much for hosting us this week at the chefs table again, wonderful as ever and each visit is different from the last but with the same quality, attention to detail and fantastic food. It is always a pleasure to sit there, chat and learn what goes on to make Yarri our favourite restaurant. Thanks Aaron, Sal and all the team. Glenn Barrett
A little late to review but this was hand's down the best meal that I had in 2020. Yarri was an unreal experience. Service was spot on and comfortable (not as heavy-handed with the 'listen to how great we are' bit that some other restaurants put on) . The venue looks great and the food was fantastic. I was drinking beer but my partner was ordering cocktails and each one was better than the last. We would recommend Yarri to anyone visiting the South West. I will definitely be back. After several visits to this gem of a place, we continue to be blown away by the consistent standard of excellence achieved in both food and service. The set menu provides an opportunity to savour the delights of the locally sourced produce and the staff provide a brief description of each course without the attitude that sometimes comes with dining - we will be back! Booked at late notice for lunch. Had the 3 course chefs selection lunch and was blown away with; the high quality produce, the attention to detail, the friendly and informative staff, the balance of local ingredient with umami flavours in every dish and the perfect pairing of local wines. Certainly a Western Australia gem and our best dining experience in the state! Ashley Gilbert
