Yarri honours nature, seasonality and this region - the people, produce and place. Located in Dunsborough, Yarri is a restaurant for date nights, quick bites, long lunches or a sneaky afternoon drink in the courtyard.
Yarri Restaurant + Bar is a collaboration between co-founders of Snake + Herring Wines Redmond Sweeny, Sal and Tony Davis, and chef Aaron Carr. 

Yarri sources ethically produced ingredients and present them simply, at their fullest potential. Yarri cuisine is a celebration of the specialist growers and farmers, vignerons, distillers, fishermen, butchers, cheese makers and many more people that make up this region. The restaurant is a celebration of their commitment to good food and quality in the glass.

The restaurant interiors, by international restaurant designer Samantha Eades Design, are richly layered and textured, incorporating Yarri wood from the site, limestone, worn leather, copper and terracotta, reflecting the bushland palette of its location. 

You can dine at the kitchen bar and watch the chef's prepare the food for you, there are large tables for big groups and intimate banquette seating and a drinks bar with lush leather seats where you can have your cocktails prepared. When the weather is at the South West's finest, there is relaxed outdoor seating under the trees in the courtyard where you can sit back relax and watch the hours slip away

Sat at the kitchen bar, which I highly recommend. Calm relaxing atmosphere and delicious food. Small menu, but it was still hard to choose as everything looked amazing. Book well in advance to ensure you don't miss out on your next trip down south.

Delicious food and fantastic service! The menu for dinner was a set menu, based on seasonal and local produce. They offer wine pairings or buying wines separately. We had a wonderful night and Garri was very friendly and informative when it came to the menu and wine suggestions and made sure we were well looked after. The number of courses was excellent (we added an optional extra course of a scallop, but that was just a delicious add on! We also got a side salad that we didn’t really need but wanted some veg) and we came away full and happy. Highly recommend if you’re visiting in the area and fancy something a little bit more refined and are willing to drop some dollar! Not sure how vegetarian friendly it is so won’t comment on that. I was bitten by some mosquitoes though which is my only grumble!

I dined at Yarri last night with friends who live locally. The friendly and informed service coupled with delicious food and a Margaret River chardonnay was perfect. The steak for two was exceptional. Always a treat to dine at Yarri!

Wifey and I love our food degustation (set menu) adventures for special occasions. Yarri ticked all of the boxes with taste, dish presentation, wait service, wine pairing and well oiled kitchen brigade working in harmony during dinner service. Using in-season local produce and having two choices per course we ordered one of each and swapped halfway so we could have a taste of every dish. We’ll definitely be coming back again.
