Ithaca Manor is an 1896 heritage-listed building. The historic property has been extensively renovated to adapt to today’s lifestyle and comforts, but hasn’t lost the history or the old-world charm that makes it such a must-stay for those looking to escape and unwind.
Stay in a piece of Busselton's history, a place with a rich and interesting past, originally being the residence of Frank Backhouse, a prominent gold-rush mining engineer and former mayor of Busselton.

Centrally located and just a 10 minute walk to the iconic Busselton Jetty. The Busselton Jetty Precinct is brimming with activity; Seaside cafes, kiosks, bars and restaurants give way to bike paths, large shady grassed areas and a calm tranquil white sandy beach. The bustling main street of Busselton is about the same distance offering restaurants, cafes, pubs, supermarkets and much more. The superb beaches and wineries of the Margaret River region are all within an hour’s drive from the front gate.

The 1896 manor house is an eclectic mix of original period features, Axminster carpet and re-purposed furniture and fittings. It offers various room types suitable for couples, families, friends, groups, singles and backpackers. Ensuite rooms are available at an affordable price and most have newly renovated bathrooms. Rooms without ensuite have separate male and female bathroom facilities used by a small number of guests. All rooms have a bar fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave and include amenities such as tea & coffee. A wrap around veranda and a common room are available for guests to use and enjoy.

Late check-in is available. Available after 23:00 on request.

My partner and I stayed for a couple of nights at one of the manor rooms on the ground floor. The building is lovely and the room was quite comfortable and clean. It had all we needed (TV, microwave, cutlery, a kettle, and a fridge with a very small freezer). The amenities at the shared spaces are alright, the bathrooms are tidy and there is constant cleaning of the premises going on. The receptionist and the staff are super friendly :) I would recommend the place without doubts!

Safe and quiet, great location. Comfortable and well sized rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful but needed some reminding. Facilities are in dire need of refreshing. Overall a good budget friendly staging ground to explore the South region but needs to replace its equipment.

I enjoyed my stay at the Ithaca, room was clean, spa was a nice touch, good location and friendly staff. only thing to improve is the parking and lights are not very bright inside the room.

Great little motel, a hidden gem behind a "Manor House". The bright, airy rooms had a comfortable bed, working reading lights, lovely hot water, good tv, kitchen table, air con, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink in the kitchen with detergent, tea towel, crockery and cutlery. Believe me some of the motels I have stayed in recently in WA do not have these things available and charge a lot for nothing! 5 mins walk to the beach and walking distance to a pub if you don't want to drive. Just be careful and don't stop under the old Moreton Bay tree it drops sticky stuff, luckily I discovered that immediately and moved.
