Ithaca Manor is an 1896 heritage-listed building. The historic property has been extensively renovated to adapt to today’s lifestyle and comforts, but hasn’t lost the history or the old-world charm that makes it such a must-stay for those looking to escape and unwind.
Stay in a piece of Busselton's history, a place with a rich and interesting past, originally being the residence of Frank Backhouse, a prominent gold-rush mining engineer and former mayor of Busselton.

Centrally located and just a 10 minute walk to the iconic Busselton Jetty. The Busselton Jetty Precinct is brimming with activity; Seaside cafes, kiosks, bars and restaurants give way to bike paths, large shady grassed areas and a calm tranquil white sandy beach. The bustling main street of Busselton is about the same distance offering restaurants, cafes, pubs, supermarkets and much more. The superb beaches and wineries of the Margaret River region are all within an hour’s drive from the front gate.

The 1896 manor house is an eclectic mix of original period features, Axminster carpet and re-purposed furniture and fittings. It offers various room types suitable for couples, families, friends, groups, singles and backpackers. Ensuite rooms are available at an affordable price and most have newly renovated bathrooms. Rooms without ensuite have separate male and female bathroom facilities used by a small number of guests. All rooms have a bar fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave and include amenities such as tea & coffee. A wrap around veranda and a common room are available for guests to use and enjoy.

Late check-in is available. Available after 23:00 on request.

Shower screens had mould ,leaked on floor so slippery. Floor felt like not washed. When next door put their shower on my bed side lamp went on and off. Clock didn't work. The floor to the bathroom gad a trip hazard. Towels were not very clean. Needed tissues . Hand towels would have been nice. Staff were heard to be complaining about hours worked. Overall was not the greatest which is disappointing.

We enjoyed this place. Unique motel, with common room and $4 laundry. Nice size room. There is a grass square to enjoy. Quiet street, 15min walking distance to promenade.

Nice & clean motel in Busselton, very close to the Jetty. We stayed for 3 nights in Room 8 and had a very comfortable stay. The room had everything we could wish for: little kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle and a mini fridge, modern bathroom with nice shower, aircon & smart TV. Wifi was not very strong during our stay and there wasn’t much privacy with the curtains open so we kept them closed during the day. Pillows are a bit hard. There is parking on site and we never had an issue finding a spot. There is a ~$150 fee in case the room key gets lost.
