A highlight of your stay will be the farm animal feeding offered every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday morning, an activity which is much loved by children and adults alike. Margaret River Hideaway is a unique property which will suit honeymooners, couples, families and small groups.
The 2 Studios (which are under 1 roof) and 7 Cottages are spaced out to ensure privacy. All have fenced enclosures to accommodate dogs (rules apply). This should cover your needs on the first morning, beyond which you’re expected to attend to your own food requirements.

Coin-operated laundry facilities are available. limited free Wi-Fi is connected to all cottages (for up to 2 devices) which should be adequate for e-mails, web browsing and moderate streaming.

Activities on the Property
Guests normally stroll, enjoying the ambience, or relax in and outside their accommodation. BBQs are set up on verandahs, so it’s easy enough to enjoy the Aussie outdoor lifestyle.

Every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 8.30 am guests can participate in a 1-hour animal feeding tour of the farm (subject to weather conditions). Animals on the farm include emus, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, peacocks, geese, sheep and alpaca; and several long-haired Scottish Highland cattle. The children will be encouraged to interact with the farm's animals.

The Hideaway is within easy driving distance of all major features of the region and it's an easy 5-minute drive to Margaret River town, where you will find numerous cafes, restaurants, bars and shops.

Great quiet location 5 minutes from town. Dani the host is very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The animals were all gorgeous and the morning feeds were very enjoyable the children loved it. Family friendly and well run accommodation. Nice and clean. We stayed in studio 4b and had a comfortable stay, well stocked kitchen too. Only thing would have loved a tv in the main bedroom.

We recently stayed at Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay, and were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, range of animals for the kids & chalets! The chalets were very clean & comfortable. Dani the manager was very accomodating when we forgot our torches & lent us some! Kids enjoyed the animal feeding (chickens, alpacas, cows, sheep, emus etc) and making forts on the property! Look forward to out next trip! Sarah & family :)

3rd stay here. Cottages are clean and comfortable, animal feeding is the highlight though i wish those can be held more frequently. I see the farm manager does make an effort to engage/ not overlook the younger kids who tend to get crowded out by the older ones, so thumbs up for that!

Feeding animals experience is great for the kids. But it's the only activity provided. Some other farm stay have more activities like fruits plucking and horse riding.
