If you love the surf, you can’t get much better than an abode just one kilometre from where the WSL Margaret River Pro takes place.
The Oystercatcher is a multi-level beachside sanctuary, blending natural materials with luxe coastal design elements, like giant windows that look out onto Prevelly Beach. It sits on a hill, just in front of the iconic St John the Theologian Chapel.
Inside, are sumptuous furnishings perfect for lounging with wine or a local brew, while taking in the rolling waves you probably surfed that morning. This stunner is a new addition to Private Properties’ collection. Stay here and you won’t want to leave. (Seriously.)

Injidup Bay House sits on 5.5 acres of private natural bushland, with 180-degree views of the Indian Ocean. This incredibly private retreat blends seamlessly with the natural beauty all around it, with wave-like roof lines that pay homage to coastline curves, as well as raw stone, weathered wood and huge decks. There’s an infinity pool, a secret poker room and giant glass walls for taking in every inch of the quality surf breaks, just a wander away.

It’s the perfect base for taking in the Margaret River Pro, which is only a few minutes away by car. Or, stay in and soak up dreamy ocean-scapes through expansive timber-framed windows, any time of year.
Much loved surf breaks, Gnarabup and Gas Bay are super close, which makes early morning surf checks easy as. At the end of the day, head to The Common for a tasty meal and wine (or beer) by the loved and lauded makers of the region.

Percy Street lives in Gracetown, a coastal enclave that’s a little bit out of the way. The home itself is just across the road from Cowaramup Bay, with views to North Point. Cooinda is an architectural delight, set on the edge of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, overlooking the Indian Ocean. Both of which, can be admired from your very own plunge pool. Down the hill you’ll find some of the best breaks in the world, and if you’re there around late November, you can even catch the Yallingup Longboard Classic.

Salty Kiss is the perfect summer getaway.
It’s light and airy open plan kitchen and living area opens onto a sparkling blue pool, which overlooks Yallingup Beach. Upstairs in the master bedroom, floor to ceiling windows mean glorious ocean views, from Sugarloaf Rock all the way to Canal Rocks.
Head outside for a game of cricket or soccer on the terraced lawn below, jump in the ocean nearby or just laze in bed loving the view. Because it’s your vacay, and you’ll do absolutely nothing if you want to.
This iconic Yallingup home is a little off-beat, in the best possible way.
Its boxy architecture and minimalist lines, with giant bifold doors that open onto the ocean, make it just the spot for your next surf holiday. Inside, you’ll find exposed timber beams, comfy sofas and furnishings in deep reds and oranges.
The Lookout is coastal cool meets charming rustic cabin, which is code for, ‘you won’t want to leave’.
Geographe Bay is home to some of the best breaks in WA.
If you’re looking for a place to stay in between sets, Bunkers Beach House is the spot. This double-storey holiday home was designed by WA architect and legend, the late Gil Nicol. Panorama is another incredible architecturally designed retreat, with elevated views across the bay. Both of these luxury homes are the perfect base for anyone partial to salty water and dreamy seaside escapes.
