Meekadarabee Walk

Star 3.7 (16 Google reviews)

Meekadarabee was known to Aboriginal people as ‘The Bathing Place of the Moon’ and there is a fascinating legend about the moss-covered waterfall and the small cave behind it. The falls are no longer visible due to natural geological changes, however the tranquil location also houses Ellenbrook Heritage Site where you can learn the history and stories of the area.
This surprisingly beautiful attraction in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park is a hidden gem, and there is a beautiful 2km wildflower walk in spring.

Picturesque, you enter and it’s like you’re teleported to some totally different place. Green and lush peaceful

600m along a well-constructed pathway, this track is suitable for all fitness levels and has no stairs. The trail itself is quaint and follows Ellen's Brook, but the "waterfall" is non-existent regardless of the time of year. Consider the journey, not the destination!

Aboriginal Cultural significant site with a storybook in English and notes from Ellen Bussel at the site. Enter from Ellenbrook homestead. Google map position is wrong.
