Cape Naturaliste is the northernmost point of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge.
You can explore the Cape Naturaliste coastal scenery by taking short walks along the boardwalks and lookouts, which include the Cape to Cape Track that runs between the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and Sugarloaf Rock. This is a world-class, levelled and bituminised trail that hikers of all abilities can tackle (including wheelchairs), and it includes 1 km of timber boardwalk. The view will take your breath away and is an incredible vantage point to spot whales between September to December.

A number of other trails from Cape Naturaliste are:

Cape Naturaliste loop - distance 3.8km

Whale Lookout walk - (return) distance 2.4km

Cape Naturaliste track to Sugarloaf walk - (one way) distance 3.5km

Bunker Bay loop - distance 3.6km

Loved it here I paid for the guided tour of the light house $17 the tour guide was very informative and friendly and also helpful about other things to do in the area too. The museum cottage was very interesting and the stories of the wrecks and life as a light house keeper were fascinating.

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse is full of history and stories. I would recommend to take the guided tour that is available by paying a fee. The guided tour allows you to know in depth about the stories around the Cape Naturaliste lighthouse and you get access to visit the lighthouse to the top. If you choose not to buy ticket then it is still OK, as you can still visit the lighthouse from outside and around it. Fee or with ticket either way beautiful place to visit, lots of parking, grab a drink, toilet facilities available as well. Do not miss a free movie at the museum, by the way the museum is also free to watch.

In addition to visiting the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse here there is a series of coastal and wilderness tracks that make for nice walks as part of visits to the northern tip of the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park. Several are short loop trails around the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse as well as a couple of slightly longer out-and-back trails which make for nice opportunities to enjoy nature and views of Geographe Bay and Indian Ocean as part visits to the Lighthouse. The famous Cape to Cape Trail, a 123 km track linking the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse here with the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse south of Augusta starts/ends here as well.
