We had a fantastic dining experience at El Toro! The food was delicious—especially the Scotch Steak, which was cooked to perfection. Every dish we ordered was full of flavour and beautifully presented. A big shoutout to the manager, Shawn, who was exceptionally warm, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The kids also had a great time, which made the evening even more enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommend for a relaxed and memorable Spanish meal!

After reading amazing reviews, we walked in and, on Friday afternoon, booked a table for two. All employees have been friendly, polite, and helpful. Big thank you for female Japanese girl who was very friendly. 10 stars for all who helped us to feel good. Atmosphere in restaurant is nice with touches of South American culture. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our food so much. Foods have been lucking of taste, not realy South American taste, rather adapt to Aussie test. Wood oven bread was tasty. Croquettes didn't meet our expectations. The slaw 18 hours cooked meat was red and definitely not cooked 18 hours. Meat should pull apart, but it was rather tough. The whole fish snapper, what to say......it could be done muc, much better. Grilled vegetables were nice and tasty. Wish I can rated foods better but unfortunately beeing lovers of South American food, we can give only 3 stars.

Sean and Deb (owners) are absolutely fantastic. They have gone above and beyond our expectations. The food is nothing short of spectacular. Everything was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. Their gnocchi special was particularly exceptional. What truly stood out was the service. Sean and the staff were so attentive and frequently checked in to ensure everything was to our liking. Could not fault the service and food. Highly recommend.

We tried El Toro while passing through Margaret River, in our quest to try as many different steakhouses as we can during our trips. Always great to see what others in the same field are doing ... 😬✌️ We came hungry and left impressed. It’s a Mexican-themed spot with strong Día de los Muertos (Mexican Halloween) visuals. Colourful, quirky, but not overdone. The place is run by a husband-and-wife Chef team who clearly put their hearts into it. Both are hands-on, very friendly, and kept things moving smoothly. The focus here is on good meat, and they get it right. Cuts are high quality, cooked properly, and plated in a way that’s a bit different from how we would do it, but it works in their setting. Portions are generous across the board, desserts included, and there’s a sense of good value. Wine list is well considered and fairly priced. The local Malbec we chose was balanced and did its job well. Nice to see a list that supports local producers without excessive mark-ups. One thoughtful touch: kids get to pick a toy from a bag the owners keep behind the counter. Small gesture, but it says a lot about how they run the place. El Toro is a fun, unpretentious, and well-executed steakhouse. Highly recommended.
