INARA is a vibrant and innovative Middle Eastern restaurant nestled in the heart of Busselton. Drawing inspiration from the diverse culinary traditions of the region, they offer a contemporary take on classic Middle Eastern dishes designed to share.
Inara celebrates the food and hospitality of the Levant in a culture of togetherness, sharing, and communing over food with family and friends.

Levantine cuisine is traditional to the region along the eastern Mediterranean shores - modern-day Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey and Cyprus. Meaning ‘Ray of Light’ in Arabic, Inara has illuminated Busselton’s food scene since opening in November 2023, creating an exciting and generous flavour journey through the Middle East.

The attractive restaurant with both inside and alfresco dining offers lunch and dinner, six days a week.

Seasonal a la carte and set menu choices create many ways to enjoy the dining experience. Owner/Chef Daniel Johnson has dedicated years to exploring the food traditions of the Middle East, aiming to elevate forgotten and little-known ingredients and transport them to the plate.

It was an honour to dine here. Beautiful, refined Middle Eastern food. Layers and layers of flavour. All of our dishes were delicious, but if I had to pick two personal favourites they would be the beef cheek and the kunefe. I also recommend the raspberry and thyme sorbet as the perfect way to finish. I had to remind myself I was in Busselton, because this restaurant could be comfortably placed among the best establishments in Melbourne or Sydney.

The cooking here will surprise the taste buds right out of you. Ok, it's attached to a shopping mall, so how good can it be... Really great. We started with the scallops cooking in their shell. Perfectly done, lots of flavor even with the spices added. The free range chicken fesenjan was full of flavor and the chicken was done exactly and moist. The most surprising dish was the broccoli tabouleh with pomegranate and mulberries. Wow. This was a lot of food for two folks I have to say Tip: Come early to beat the crowds or make reservations.

Chanced upon Inara on a recent visit to Busselton and decided to partake in the chef's menu lunch; left wowed and very content. The meal, the service, the wine list - all faultless. Highly recommend.

Planned a restful birthday getaway to Busso, came across Inara for dinner as it’s very close to our accommodation. Ordered everything the lovely staff recommended and damn, every dish is divine. My husband is a Chef and very hard to please when dining out, but Inara’s flavours gave his pallets one of the best experiences he haven't had in a while. We loved it so much, we came back the next day for lunch! Here’s some reco: roasted figs and fresh bazlama with the whipped feta dip. If you’re not a fan of lamb and keen to try, give their lamb tomahawk a try cos you will never regret it. The barra and the premium aged steak, well, should I say more? Kudos to the Head Chef! The atmosphere , the lovely accomodating staff, very impressed! I wish they’d open in Perth, this restaurant is a true gem!
