INARA is a vibrant and innovative Middle Eastern restaurant nestled in the heart of Busselton. Drawing inspiration from the diverse culinary traditions of the region, they offer a contemporary take on classic Middle Eastern dishes designed to share.

Inara celebrates the food and hospitality of the Levant in a culture of togetherness, sharing, and communing over food with family and friends.

Levantine cuisine is traditional to the region along the eastern Mediterranean shores - modern-day Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey and Cyprus. Meaning ‘Ray of Light’ in Arabic, Inara has illuminated Busselton’s food scene since opening in November 2023, creating an exciting and generous flavour journey through the Middle East.

The attractive restaurant with both inside and alfresco dining offers lunch four days a week (Thursday to Sunday), and dinner six nights a week (closed Monday).

Seasonal a la carte and set menu choices create many ways to enjoy the dining experience.

Owner/Chef Daniel Johnson has dedicated years to exploring the food traditions of the Middle East, aiming to elevate forgotten and little-known ingredients and transport them to the plate.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at INARA Busselton. From the moment we arrived, the venue felt warm and inviting, blending coastal charm with elegant, modern vibes. The mocktails were incredible, beautifully presented and full of flavour, easily some of the best we’ve had anywhere. The food was exceptional, rich in flavour and beautifully plated. We left super full and so happy. What really stood out was the service. The lady who looked after us was patient, knowledgeable, and thorough, taking time to explain the menu and ensuring we had everything we needed without ever rushing us. You could feel the care in every interaction. INARA delivers on everything it promises a place where authentic Mediterranean flavours are honoured and elevated. Whether you're familiar with Lebanese cuisine or new to it, you’ll leave inspired, satisfied, and already planning your return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Busselton. A real standout.

Good location with access through the park and some available street parking. The entrance is from several points, the inside is spacious with the decoration as pictured. The inside can get busy with a lot of people and the noise can get quite noticeable. The members of a staff are exceptionally friendly, and the owner is very knowledgeable when it comes to wines. Overall an excellent variety of middle eastern options with a good mix of flavours and share plates. Which is the main essence of the venue. The prices are as expected, moderate to high - depending on hunger levels. The range of alcohol is also quite satisfactory.

It was an honour to dine here. Beautiful, refined Middle Eastern food. Layers and layers of flavour. All of our dishes were delicious, but if I had to pick two personal favourites they would be the beef cheek and the kunefe. I also recommend the raspberry and thyme sorbet as the perfect way to finish. I had to remind myself I was in Busselton, because this restaurant could be comfortably placed among the best establishments in Melbourne or Sydney.

If you are in Busso, make time to try out Inara. The food is delightfully different with it's middle eastern fusion flare. The charcoal cauliflower in my opinion is exceptional. I treated myself to the scallop, yes singular, scallop. It was delicious and worth paying the decadent price. Happy dining 🍽
