INARA is a vibrant and innovative Middle Eastern restaurant nestled in the heart of Busselton. Drawing inspiration from the diverse culinary traditions of the region, they offer a contemporary take on classic Middle Eastern dishes designed to share.
Inara celebrates the food and hospitality of the Levant in a culture of togetherness, sharing, and communing over food with family and friends.

Levantine cuisine is traditional to the region along the eastern Mediterranean shores - modern-day Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey and Cyprus. Meaning ‘Ray of Light’ in Arabic, Inara has illuminated Busselton’s food scene since opening in November 2023, creating an exciting and generous flavour journey through the Middle East.

The attractive restaurant with both inside and alfresco dining offers lunch and dinner, six days a week.

Seasonal a la carte and set menu choices create many ways to enjoy the dining experience. Owner/Chef Daniel Johnson has dedicated years to exploring the food traditions of the Middle East, aiming to elevate forgotten and little-known ingredients and transport them to the plate.

It was an honour to dine here. Beautiful, refined Middle Eastern food. Layers and layers of flavour. All of our dishes were delicious, but if I had to pick two personal favourites they would be the beef cheek and the kunefe. I also recommend the raspberry and thyme sorbet as the perfect way to finish. I had to remind myself I was in Busselton, because this restaurant could be comfortably placed among the best establishments in Melbourne or Sydney.

We been here for the paird event with a special set menu; we arrived at 10am and our breakfast arrived in the table at 11am, even if we waited a little while the starters tasted very good and were good quality, in the meantime we were eating our food the young waiter came with lot of rush to take away our plates without considering that we were still eating…. The mains as well took a long time and when arrived to the table unfortunately they were COLD and they forgot to bring to us three items listed in the menu which we had to remind to them. Certainly they were not very ready for this kind of service… is a sin because the food was very well cooked and high quality.

Had such an amazing experience dining at Inara with the group of girlfriends. All the food was delicious and a customer service is 10/10. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic! This restaurant is reminiscent of the much missed Hummus Club in Perth, but more elevated. The flavours and pairings are complex and fresh. So unique and such a pleasure to eat. The hummus with green tahini is amazing, and the burrata with strawberry just works. The tabbouleh is crunchy and multilayered. Will be back for sure! Worth the drive from Perth!
