Lamont’s Smiths Beach incorporates a fabulous wine store and deli, trading 7 days 8 am to 7 pm serving espresso coffee, casual breakfasts, a terrific range of premium wines at competitive bottle shop prices as well as a great range of “food to go”.
The Restaurant/ Wine Bar next door opens 7 days from noon and serves right through till late, dine on a quick tapas style menu or feast on the seasonal a la carte menu and wine list with iconic Margaret River, Australian and International wines.
The Cellar Door tasting area operates 7 days a week from 11 am till 5 pm.

This is our fourth visit to this restaurant, we've really enjoyed it every time, lovely location, food is great and the service is good. We've had both lunch and dinner there, there's plenty of parking, there's a deli adjoining the restaurant selling wines, olives etc. Afterwards we drove down the road to see the beach and beautiful views. It's thoroughly worth the trip, we came down from Mandurah.

Very nice couple of nights, we stayed at Smith's Beach Resort. Delicious food and friendly staff. Bit slow topping up water but good for everything else! We had breakfast two mornings, which could have been a bit speedier and dinner two nights, which was a lovely chilled experience. I didn't take photos of everything, however it was all very well presented and a flavour bomb!

Since we were staying down the street from Smiths Beach we decided to try Lamont’s one night. There were only two tables seated including us so it was pretty quiet. They initially asked if we had a reservation which we didn’t and there was some hesitation to sitting us. Seeing only one table seated we were a little put off by that but I understand people reserve for later times and we may have been taking up a spot for someone who was coming soon. So if you’re going to eat here I would suggest a reservation just in case.
With only two tables seated our service was only ok, waters were left empty throughout the dinner and the servers weren’t very attentive to us. We got the bread as an appetizer and it was served cold with cold butter so that was very unappealing.
Star of the show was dinner though. The fish and steak were cooked to perfection and tasted immaculate. The wine selection was large as well which was nice to be able to pair with dinner.
For what we paid we were left a little wanting.

Delicious foods! Every dish we had was absolutely beautiful! There is a great list of wines to choose from and enjoy with your food! We had an entree and a main each and I got so full I couldn't get a dessert after. I love a little wine shop and snack next door to grab some take home too!
