GOON|TYCOONS is the combination of three guys who have been in the wine industry for most of their life, let out & about on good behaviour from their everyday jobs to launch their own brand.
Dancing on the verge of stupidity and sensibility, the GOON|TYCOONS wines are designed to promote the unique varieties and grower sites found on their endless quest for great vineyards.

With a focus on single-vineyard sites, less familiar varieties and minimalist winemaking, GOON|TYCOONS are a small batch wine producer creating interesting and smashable wines from around Western Australia.

Visit the cellar door to explore the range of GOON|TYCOONS wines while snacking on handcrafted goat and organic cows milk cheeses from Margaret River.

Average wine. Tasting fee $5 but will return if buying. Cheese tasting inside as well. Beautiful lake view. Not a big winery. Service average. Bought a honey but was overcharged. Other shop selling same honey bigger and cheaper. 😑

Sort of 4 places in one: 2 wine labels, olive oil sales and cheese shop. The vineyard itself is Abbey Vale, and they have 3-4 wines. Goon Tycoon is Abbey Vale's smaller, more experimental label. (They're also related to Deep Woods and Evans & Tate.) Tastings are $5, refunded with a bottle purchase. Super nice cellar door, good wines, very reasonable prices. Especially enjoyed Goon Tycoon's Teroldego, an Italian grape varietal. Definitely recommend visiting if you want a more boutique experience.

Overall had a great experience here and all the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable 😀 What an amazing setting, great wine and delicious cheese. Only thing that was off putting was the $5 tasting fee, despite not having to pay it as we made several purchases. For me nothing worse than walking in and seeing a tasting fee sign and is not the best first impression. Luckily your staff made up for this

We visit this winery every year when we come down south for our summer holiday. We love the wines and the cheeky names! Service is friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't feel rushed at all. There is $5 tasting fee which you get back on wine purchased. Also love that Yallingup cheese is next door and you can get a cheese platter to go with your tasting. Nice to see this little cellar door also supports other local businesses by stocking their produce. If you have kids with you there are a few garden games like jenga etc to keep them occupied.
