Minimal intervention wines from Margaret River offering premium, single vineyard, small batch wines.

Vallée du Venom is Rhys and Emma Parker and their ‘Urban Micro Winery’ in Dunsborough, Western Australia. The winery is located in the north of the world renowned Margaret River Wine Region.

With access to premium vineyards and reliable maritime climate vintages, Vallée du Venom produce small batch, terroir driven wines centered around a minimal intervention ethos.

Without the benefit of inheriting vineyards or a winery nor wishing to relinquish control to a third party winemaking facility, Rhys and Emma started from scratch. Converting a bare, concrete warehouse in the heart of Dunsy into a winery, the Urban Micro Winery concept was as much as a necessity as it was a vision.

We visited Vallee du Venom on a whim while driving in the area. The wines were absolutely amazing. We sat on the deck tasted wines, had a cheese platter and in such a beautiful setting ! And speaking with Rhys about the wine making methods he used, and his description of his wines was fascinating. A really enjoyable visit. Totally recommend!

Loved our visit to Vallée du Venom. The wines are bold, expressive, and full of personality — no fluff, no distractions, just genuinely interesting wines that speak for themselves. Rhys and Em are absolute legends too — welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, which makes the whole experience even better. Relaxed, unpretentious, and doing its own thing brilliantly. Walked out with a couple of bottles and a big smile.

Such a beautiful, intimate setting and Rhys is the most passionate and engaging host who really loves making wine. The wine is epic, I couldn’t recommend it enough. The best cellar door I’ve visited in my 2 week visit to Margaret River
