Woody Nook Wines is a long established family-owned, winery that is small and unpretentious but which has received consistent critical acclaim for the quality of their premium wines.

Nestled in the Margaret River wine-growing area of Western Australia and just a few miles from the Indian Ocean, Woody Nook is situated on a ridge of rich gravelly loam. The original vines, planted almost forty years ago, are dry farmed, resulting in full fruit flavours and distinctive varietal characteristics. Whether visitors are already familiar with Woody Nook’s crisp, fruit driven whites and rich, firmly-structured reds, or learning about them for the first time, the friendly and knowledgeable cellar door sales staff look forward to welcoming visitors and helping them discovering their range. 

Visitors can also browse an excellent selection of attractive wine-related gifts, many of which are unique to Woody Nook Wines in Australia. Carefully chosen with travellers in mind, the range includes quirky, lightweight and affordable items. The Gallery tasting room also features a display of local art and jewellery.

The Nookery Café is set against an impressive backdrop of jarrah and marri forest. It has a rustic, cosy charm both inside the cottage-style building and outside under the shady pergola or on the all-weather alfresco patio by the fish pond. There is also a grassy play area with swings for children and meals especially for them.

Busselton-born Chef Johnathon Merrick and his team use as much of the local area’s meats, cheeses and seafood as possible to create both favourite dishes and daily specials, prepared quickly and served by efficient and friendly wait staff.
