The Margaret River & Districts Historical Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving and cataloguing the local history of Margaret River and the surrounding districts. The precinct centres around the 1925 Bramley School & Group Settlement house buildings on the banks of the River. Head on down and stroll through the historical buildings and then enjoy a cuppa at the Hairy Marron Cafe next door.
The Bramley School contains historical school paraphernalia, many local photographs and changing displays.  The "Groupie" house operates as a small museum and holds a collection of artefacts, dating from between 1921-1935.  The grounds are surrounded by farming implements, tools, renovated spring carts, an old dairy, a "dunny" and milk shed. Both of these buildings offer an insight into the history of early life in the district during the early 1920s and the families that once lived and worked the land.

The Margaret River Rotary Club Men's Shed gathers in the Black Smith building on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm.
