The Vasse Nature Playground has cleverly-designed play equipment to encourage interaction with nature and adventure. There’s climbing forts, a water play station, logs, a swing, free play space, walk and cycle paths, seating spaces and the perfect spot to have a BBQ. Recycled Marri trunks sourced from close by have been used as part of Vasse’s sustainability initiatives.
Since opening in November 2017, the Dawson Nature Playground has become a favourite for parties, events, picnics and more. As well as the nature playground, there are two new attractions in the park. A half-court basketball court and the flying fox have joined the climbing forts, water play station, swing and all of the other fun attractions already at the park. The basketball court is perfect for a friendly game of two-on-two or just to shoot some hoops. The 30m flying fox has also be built near the hopscotch area and is sure to provide hours of entertainment!
