Let the kids run free at the outdoor and indoor playground and relax. Simple.

Scoops Farm is all about having a great time. There are farm animals such as cows, goats, alpacas and sheep to pat and to feed for a small entry fee (see below) as well as rabbits and guinea pigs and a few play areas for kids to enjoy. The cafe operates under MR Fro Yo and sells coffee and frozen yoghurt that you can enjoy in a free area outside of the animal farm overlooking the rural scenery. It's two businesses in one - enjoy!

Margaret River Fro Yo:

With four gluten free flavours, a dairy free Acai, and over 20 toppings to choose from, some might call this place heaven. It is certainly the only frozen yoghurt shop in the South West and been very popular since its launch in March 2025. More information on toppings and prices is available on their website.

Visitors can also buy any takeaway coffee, organic tea, premium matcha, or other drinks at any time during their visit. There is a free area to enjoy the scenery that is dog and child-friendly and partly under cover for those who aren't looking for the whole animal experience.

Animal Farm

If visitors choose to do the farm experience, their children can play and roam freely in an all-fenced-in area while getting close to farm animals. Feeding the goats, sheep, alpacas, cows, and everyone's darlings the bunnies and guinea pigs brings a lot of joy to young and old. Every day around 11 am either the mini pigs or calves & lambs get fed and visitors are invited to join in! There are heaps of other poultry such as chickens, guinea fowls, quails, turkeys and ducks to look at. When available, calf and/or lamb feedings will be held with milk bottles (see their Instagram and Facebook pages for updates). Prices as follows:

Entry Fees for the Animal Farm:

$14 per person (kids under 2 are free & a bucket of feed is included for every child)

Family of Four = $50 (includes two feed buckets)

Extra Feed Buckets = $5

The playground inside the petting zoo includes swings, slides, a fairy garden, monkey bars, a nature playground and an indoor play centre that is especially popular on rainy days or when you need a break from the sun. Scoops is the ideal place to let children experience farm life and nature and a must do with little children when in the Margaret River Region.

Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a great selection of ice creams at good prices, without having to head into town. As a bonus you can go check out all the farm animals they have and they even provide the opportunity to feed them. Great for kids and there's a playground and petting area for rabbits and guinea pigs too so the kids will love that. The staff were really friendly and welcoming.

We had a wonderful time here. The staff are so friendly, and the vibe is very chilled. We were able to feed and pet the Guinea pigs, rabbits, sheep, goats, and cow! The animals are obviously well cared-for, and are happy to interact. There is lots of different play equipment for the kids, and the Simmos icecream hits the spot. We'll be back!

Small farm that sells icecream and has a few animals for kids to pet and feed. It was a very cheap morning activity and my son loved it. All the animals were friendly, so he was pretty excited to hand feed them and give them a pet. Look forward to going back next time we're down there.
