Is your dog ready for the paw-ty of the year?

The Dog’s Breakfast is a free event for the whole family!

The Dog’s Breakfast aims to encourage responsible dog ownership and raise community awareness of beach nesting birds and migratory shorebirds.

What to expect:

  • Free sausage sizzle
  • Dog training session & agility demonstration
  • Free dog rego for dogs that have never been previously registered
  • Coffee van (Yahava Koffee Works)
  • Dog treats
  • BirdLife Australia information stall
  • And lots of furry friends

  • 9:30am-10:00am – Agility demonstration
  • 10:00am-10:30am – Free dog training session

Free Dog Registration

The Shire’s Rangers will be offering free dog registration for dogs that have never been registered previously with the Shire.

Free registration will be valid from the date of registration until 31 October 2024.

Free Registration Terms and Conditions

1. Free dog registration campaign commences on 5 October 2023 and closes at 5pm on 31 October 2023.
2. Free dog registration is only valid for dogs which have not previously been registered with the Shire.
3. Dogs that are registered in another local government area but are not registered in the Shire of Augusta Margaret River can apply for free registration.
4. Free dog registration is valid from date of registration until 31 October 2024.
5. The Shire will notify dog owners each year to renew their dog registration.

Parking
Attendees are encouraged to park in the Surfers Point Carpark and walk down to the event.
