Riflebutts Reserve is fantastic for the kids! The park has a large playground, beach access and plenty of benches and BBQs as well as public toilets.
The reserve is dog friendly(excluding the children’s playground area) and adjoins a dog exercise area of the beach - which extends from the reserve south to the public accessway from Papadakis Avenue.

Beautiful grassed area and playground but the bbqs were left dirty. I realise people should clean them when they’re finished, but councils typically ensure they’re usable.
The bbqs up the hill were also left dirty.
Bit of a shame because it’s such a lovely area.

Great little cove/beach but we didn't realise it was a dog beach until down on the beach...as yes we should have looked at signs. Too many people without dogs on leads running around. Great beach for dogs. We did have a swim and then left.
