COVID-19 Update for Cowaramup Brewing Company

Due to the current restrictions, we have decided that we are not going to open until Stage 3. Takeaway cans and growler refills are still available for purchase from the Brewery and we are still delivering freshly made frozen meals and Friday night pizzas. Thank you for your ongoing support! We can't wait to be pouring again soon ❤️

Cowaramup Brewing Company is a family owned microbrewery situated in the world renowned Margaret River Region of Western Australia.

Located in a picturesque rural setting 4km east of Bussell Highway in Cowaramup, Cowaramup Brewing Company offers quality hand crafted ales and lagers, a range of local wines with an excellent menu focusing on local produce.

More information

The brewery which opened in December 2006 currently has five beers available on tap including Cowaramup Pilsener, Hefeweizen, Special & India Pale Ales and Cowaramup Stout.

The venue itself consists of the brewhouse, bar and restaurant with shaded decking and beautiful beer garden overlooking the surrounding rural area and a small dam. The brewery is family orientated with a children's playground that can easily be seen from all areas. There is also ample area for a friendly game of Footy or Cricket, Petaque or Jenga - which ever you prefer!!

Nine varieties of hops are also grown on site and some of these hops are used to produce the beers.

Cowaramup Brewing Company also provide the opportunity to participate in a behind the scenes tour of the brewery (Wed & Fri 11am) in which the brewing process will be explained in detail. The tour will be followed by a tasting of each of the excellent Cowaramup ales and lagers which will be matched with a tasty menu item. The assistant brewer will explain the key to beer and food pairing.

The restaurant at the brewery seats around 80 people inside with seating for a further 60 on the beautiful wooden deck. The deck is shaded in the summer and offers great views across the licensed lawn area to the native gardens and small dam.

The views extend to rolling pasture and the adjoining Treeton Estate Winery. There is also a clear view to the children's play area so parents can relax and enjoy their meal. The licensed lawn area is defined by borders of native flowers and grasses and can comfortably seat another 70 guests.

The Cowaramup Brewery has a restaurant which focuses on excellent local produce. The menu includes a range of gourmet pizzas as well other delicious favourites including our Pilsener Battered Fish & Chips, Brewery Cheeseburger, Seafood Crepe, Thai Chicken Curry and Vegetarian Cannelloni. Our signature dish is the Cowaramup Special Pizza which is topped with venison chorizo, sun dried tomatoes, roasted capsicum mushrooms, olives and garnished with spring onions and barbecue sauce.

This is a great venue for lunches, birthdays and weddings. Be sure to add this place to your favorites. I recently had the pleasure of attending a family wedding here and have nothing but praise for the management and staff of this establishment. This is great venue with a good kitchen and wonderful friendly staff that could not do enough for us. Highly recommended for an social occasion or major event.

This place was great, the staff explained the beer in detail and offer samples to fit our tastes. The food came out very promptly, tasted great and was reasonable priced. The kids could play in the play ground or on the grassed area and the take away options of can containing nearly a litre of beer or a jug containing nearly two (refillable when you return) is a well thought out idea. Definitely worth heading to.
