The Hairy Marron

Restaurants & Cafes

Overview

The Hairy Marron is your first stop for Mountain Biking in Margaret River. We are a family friendly place to hang out for coffee, juice, light snacks, mountain bike rental, sales and repairs. Your dogs are welcome too!

More information

We offer an extensive hire fleet of bikes, competitive bike sales, and service and repairs to bikes.

At the Hairy Marron we strive to bring you the best ‘in house’ made food we can. As we don’t have the space for a hot kitchen in our busy little shop, our food is simple but made every day from the freshest local ingredients we can find.

Breakfast time you will find bircher muesli , roasted granola and yoghurt, chia pods with fruit, fresh baked croissants, ham and cheese croissants, bacon and egg bagels (toasted), vegetarian ‘tex mex’ wraps (toasted), thick sliced savoury loaf (toasted), and sweet muffins hot from the oven.

Lunch in summer brings salad bowls and deli filled wraps, winter gives you a choice of hot soups with crusty bread, toasted sandwiches and wraps, with sweet treats to finish off .

Cakes? Oh yes please! To complement our fresh baked sweet muffins we also make a large variety of sweet loaf cakes, thickly sliced, to suit all dietary requirements. We make sinful treats like caramel slice, rocky road and brownie, then feel all guilty and make sugar free power bars with real cacao, muesli bars and energy balls. For the ankle biters we make gingerbread babies to go with their baby cinos and for the ankle lickers we make peanut butter and honey dog biscuits!

Coffee, is from Craig up the road at Yallingup Coffee, delivered fresh weekly, made with love from our cafe crew to what we defend as the best in the south west. Hot chocolates, chai lattes, black teas, green teas, organic herbal infusions, and organic masarla chai tea round off our hot drink line up. Iced coffee, iced mocha, iced strawberry and spearmints in adult or kids sizes for cold options.

All of our food and beverages are designed to dine in, overlooking the river, or to take it away, with the kids to the park, walking with the dog, or as an energy supply on that ride on your favourite mountain bike trail

Come in, and see what seasonal changes we’ve made to our menu.

Great bikes. Vibe from the staff was friendly and positive, good humour. Awesome shop. And frankly, the best way to do a little wine tour. Their route was well planned, nice mix of wineries and bushland. Though i'd skip voyager, quite wanky.

Quality service and food at very reasonable prices. Other coffee places could learn from this cafe. The banana and choc muffin was to die for.

Helpful to the extent that seemed more concerned with making sure customers have a good experience rather than taking their coins. Also takes initiative to provide information about the area.
