Happs Pottery

Happs Pottery is a lively working studio showcasing the work of potters Myles, Denise, Maggie, and at times Fin Happ. A beautiful range of handmade ceramics is created on site, from thoughtful gifts to standout pieces for weddings and special occasions. Contemporary glazes feature across platters, mugs, keep cups, bowls, plates, and decorative works.

All pottery is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe; made for everyday use as well as display. Each piece reflects skilled, hands-on craftsmanship.

For those wanting a more immersive visit, pottery experiences offer the chance to create a personal piece. These relaxed 1.5-hour workshops include an option for glazing and firing. Bookings are available via the Happs Pottery website.

The studio also hosts pottery excursions for visiting school groups.

Alongside the ceramics, Icon Honey showcases premium Western Australian honey, sourced from on-site beehives and local beekeepers. Varieties include bold Jarrah, classic Redgum, light Karri, rich Blackbutt, tangy Peppermint (Peppi), and seasonal Wildflower, Something for every taste.

A bespoke bee wall offers a unique look inside a working hive, with the chance to watch bees in action and possibly spot the queen.

Families are welcome. Outdoor features include a trampoline (shoes off, no sticks) and a rustic rope swing. Adult supervision is required for younger children.

Two friendly dogs, Lola and Otis, are part of the property. Visitors bringing dogs are asked to be mindful, as Lola can sometimes be unsettled by other dogs.
